kori stared at the pencil she had dropped onto the floor. she looked around the room, recalling her experience. there was always one word that she had heard people use when an accident, such as dropping something, occurred. it seemed to be a bit tabboo but if everyone else used it, then what was the harm?

1. This kind of goes without saying but don't godmod.
2. Mun does not equal muse. Kori and I are two very different people. Similarly, what happens between our muses is not what's going on between the muns. If our muses are dating, I am not committed to you. If our muses are fighting, I am not angry with you. This might sound unnessecary but I've run into some pretty awkward situations with this before and I'd really rather not deal with it again. Please seperate mun and muse.
3. If you want to rp with me, send me a message, send me a meme, throw a random starter my way. I love them and I will actually be so happy if you do.
4. To keep my dashboard clear, I am selective and private. If you use 100x100 icons and small text, you'll be fine. Private means that I won't rp with mutuals. Sometimes though (usually memes), I'll specify whether it's open to mutuals and nonmutuals but that's very rarely.
5. I am open to having exclusives but I do have some rules about this. I won't go exclusive with anyone in the DC Fandom (be it DCAU, DCEU, PN52, N52, Rebirth), anyone else is game. I do ask that I know the mun fairly well ooc.

6. I won't tolerate any bullying. At all.
7. All icons are made by me. Please don't steal them because I will find out and I will message you about it.
8. Skype and discord are avaliable to mutuals.
9. I'm 18+ so NSFW will happen. Smut will only happen if I'm comfortable with the mun and if it makes sense (i.e. the situation leads up to it).
10. I have a bunch of verses (definitely check out my verses page!) but my default verse will be new 52. Unless we specify that our thread or interaction will be taking place in another verse (or if you're character is exclusive to only the DCAU, DCEU, etc), it will be set in the new 52 one.
11. I will goof up. I will forget that something happened or mention something before the New 52, just tell me nicely and I'll change it.

Koriand’r was born on Tamaran,a peaceful planet of former warriors to the ruling king and queen. Her older sister, Komand’r was set to become queen of Tamaran, a fact that both sister’s never really contemplated very much.
Kori was happy on Tamaran. It was a planet full of peace and, seeing as she wasn’t the heir, she had a lot of freedom (Freedom that she definitely took advantage of). She was close to her family, particularly so to her older sister. Life was good on her home planet but then the Citadel, another race of aliens, stuck.
Her once beautiful, peaceful planet was riddled with invaders. Everything changed. Her sister became a figurehead, someone for the Citadel to hide behind. They forced Komand’r into an early position of queen and forced her to exile her little sister but not before the Citadel took advantage of the spare heir and did awful experiments on her.
Upon her banishment, Koriand'r was taken to a war camp called Takron. For the first time in her life, she was full of hatred and anger for what had happened to her but she took that rage, took that fury and chanelled it which manifested in a few extraordinary abilities.
While Kori possessed the gift of flight and energy absorbtion, like all Tamaraneans, her abilities moved beyond the typical capacity of her people. Due to a combination of the experiments and her anger at the situation, she was suddenly able to shoot rays of light from her hands that burned anything she shot them at beyond recognition. She knew that these powers existed but avoided using them since she knew very little about them or how to control them.
Unfortunately, however, her abilities became apparent to the Takronians after an incident. A guard was attempting to give Kori a gift and the encounter went astray. Kori went on defensive and attacked the guard in a very public, loud, and attentive display. She killed the guard and before the blood had time to dry, the commanders had come for her.
The experiments started again but this time, they were worse than before and continued on until slavers came to find her. A former princess sold for a very, very high price, and she was captured. However, she didn’t stay a slave for long.
Knowing that she possessed new capabilities, she broke free and killed the commander of the slaver’s ship. Freeing herself and the other slaves on board. Sometime around then, the ship crash landed and the alien princess found herself on an island within a strange planet called earth.
It didn’t take long for her to get off of the island and start meeting people, the first of which being Dick Grayson. She joined the Titans quickly afterwards and developed a romantic relationship with Dick Grayson.
After the two broke it off, she took some time off and traveled back to the site of the ship crash. It was there that Jason Todd and Roy Harper found her. The three of them joined up to become The Outlaws.
While with the Outlaws, she started a romantic relationship with Roy Harper although they had to break up when duty called for Kori to return to Tamaran. The Citadel had gone too far and her sister needed help.
She spent a few years on Tamaran and returning to her home made her a much happier person. Once her sister was okay, Kori returned to Earth, landing in Key West, where she had to readjust to Earthen customs after a few years away.

Koriand'r was born in Tamaran to the queen and king of the planet. She was their second daughter although Koriand'r was acknowledged as the successor to the throne by the people since her older sister, Komand'r was ailed with an illness that prevented her from being able to fly. The princess was relatively happy until her planet was invaded by enemy aliens and she was sold as a slave by her older sister.
She remained in slavery for several years before her ship crashlanded on Earth and she was set free. Soon after that she joined the Teen Titans and devoted herself to protecting this new planet.

Koriand'r was an enslaved Tamaranean princess who managed to break free of her captors and stow away to Earth. She landed in Central City and was quick to learn how to survive on this new planet. She functions under the alias of Kori Anders and works with the Central City Aquarium.

Koriand'r was born in Tamaran, an island off the coast of Spain. She was born into the royal family and was content with her life there until a group of Anti-Royalists, the Citadel, rebelled and took over the Tamaran. Their rebellion quickly spiraled into violence and the young Koriand’r, along with her sister, Komand’r, had to watch as their parents, along with everything they’d ever known, was destroyed. Unknown to Kori, her sister, in tandem with her parent’s advisors, had come up with a plan to get the two princesses out and to a country that had once seemed so far away: America.
Something went wrong though, someone leaked the information, and on their flight to the States, the two princesses were intercepted by the Citadel. They took Komand’r, on account of the fact that she was the royal heir and an important figurehead, but sold Koriand’r to a group of human traffickers, who paid a hefty sum for the princess.
She remained a slave for another rough five years before the hideout she had been stored in was discovered by the UN. It was only then that she was taken to America where she found out about Tamaran’s deteriorating state. The country had become a dictatorship and was holding her older sister hostage, a means of keeping the UN out.
It was what she had to do: Save her country. Taking advice from a close friend, she studied hard and caught up with her curriculum in a solid year and a half. She enrolled in Georgetown and is an international relations major with a minor in history. Right after college, she applied to work with the United Nations and, even though she’s just starting out, wants to eventually free her country and work to put human trafficking to an end.
