STRANGER. 

“       Y O U ‘ R E different yes? I L I V E on this planet for such a long time that this has become first hand for me.” Ametrine was honest, although much curious about this girl and W H Y she wished to be on earth. “E V E R Y star has it’s own galaxy         Y O U chose this place, why?”

                                      _{kori wasn’t ENTIRELY sure how to respond to the question. her INTIAL arrival on earth hadn’t BEEN voluntary. the starfire had crashed onto earth and, ALTHOUGH kori had the opportunity to LEAVE many times, she had CHOSEN to stay. partly because she wasn’t SURE if she had anywhere else to GO and partly because she’d FALLEN in love with the planet, ❛ there are many reasons. partly because i’ve COME to love earth. ❜}

                                      _{kori knew that something about her MANNERISMS was distinctly DIFFERENT from the way most CITIZENS on earth acted but she had never MET anyone that detected her foreign NATURE so quickly. it was unusual but the girl seemed KIND so she didn’t necessarily MIND.}

80s MOVIE STARTERS || ACCEPTING

                                      _{it was a FACT that kori herself had learned ( albeit not in the most PLEASANT way ) over the course of her LIFE. everything was prone to destruction CHANGE and it was BETTER to appreciate something in the moment rather than REGRET the loss in the future, ❛ change is a WONDERFUL thing, is it not? ❜}

CONNER.

“Y O U ‘ R E on the right track.” Conner happily stated, although his face remain stern, as if he was being scolded by Superman himself. His own tone gave away at how much he was onboard with the idea. Probably something he should try to work with at his own time.

Tilting his head he crossed his arms, smiling brightly. “Let’s F I N D some trouble first.”

                                      _{kori’s face lit up once AGAIN, excited by the prospect of proving herself. everyone had been treating her so delicately, perhaps because her optimistic disposition didn’t EXACTLY scream warrior, perhaps because of her ALIEN origins, but, nonetheless, she wanted to prove herself and this was the perfect chance.}

                                      _{❛ come on, ❜ she began FLYING towards the door, glancing over her shoulder at him, ❛ we should be able to find some distress very soon! ❜}

CONNER.

“I J U S T want to be treated equal from       my F A T H E R.” Conner trailed off, awkwardly coughing as there wasn’t much he could add to that statement. Guess it’s hard to explain by Superman isn’t so fond of Superboy. He smile bright towards the redhead nodding.

As he kept to himself for awhile it took a moment before he started to speak again. “M A Y B E     we could do something? Get everyone attention?”

                                      _{kori was not mischievous by nature but she LIKED his idea. she had been overlooked for so long and she was SURE that he felt the same. as long as they didn’t do anything that resulted in too much damage, she didn’t why they shouldn’t give the IDEA a go.} 

                                      _{❝ we should prove to the OTHERS that we can handle ourselves.  ❞}

RICHARD.

Nightwing couldn’t help but to B U R S T out laughing when he didn’t expect Starfire to go on a rant about Beast Boy. The black haired man didn’t even need to fully imagine how that could have gone down. In fact, he wouldn’t be surprise if B E A S T Boy went deaf for a weak, along with some B A T T L E scars, which Dick was sure that is what his teammate would have called it.

As Dick rest his head up against the wall of the cable car, he could most certainly feel the vibrations. “Glad to hear it Kori.”

                                      _{the alien LEANED against the wall of the car, laying her legs across the free space of the seat she was occupying. kori tried making herself comfortable, something told her that this JOURNEY was going to be a lengthy one.} 

_{❝ you should get some SLEEP                                                                 it is probably going to be a long time before we reach our destination.. ❞}

CONNER.

“You’re T E L L I N G me.” Conner replied to the other, listening to her talk. In fact, sure he was F E D a lot of information, however he still didn’t understand why things work like it did on earth. He wasn’t much for talking, but he didn’t mind to L I S T E N to others talk.

Superboy shrugged a bit as he continued. “Or people are A F R A I D to give you responsibilities.” 

                                       _{that was the kind of FEELING that kori had about the situation. everyone was hesitant to give her anything to do                                                                           PERHAPS because she was an alien. regardless of the REASON, it was still frustrating. she wanted to do something, wanted to feel USEFUL. free time was great but she was tired of seeing PEOPLE constantly risking their lives, tired of sitting back and watching other people risk their lives when she knew that she could be out there, HELPING them.} 

              _{❛ your honesty is refreshing. perhaps that is why? i do want some responsibility. i want to help. ❜}

RICHARD.

“Not a whole lot of C L U E S, if so this covert mission would be going by faster.” He shrugged, he didn’t really catch on to see how much Starfire was blinded by everyone and everything. It almost made him laugh. Dick became nose blind in a sense, to everything. All of this was second-hand nature to himself, nothing new. Besides some few acts here and there but the main gist was the S A M E.

Dick was brought back from his thoughts as the eager Kori kept him on his toes. “Hey! W-Wait up.” He rubbed the back of his neck as he walked over to the cable car. And it was great news to see they would be alone for the ride, trying to covertly talk to Kori with all these new things might be a tad bit distracting. 

“Don’t we have enough of Beast Boy?” Dick try to make a joke but he was sure Kori was going to dismiss that. It wasn’t long until he climbed up into the cable car, exhaling. “We can     look for a bit, but we can’t forget our mission.”

                                      _{❝ but i would like to see an animal that STAYS an animal and doesn’t just turn back into a human and then eat the last of my peanut butter-and-mayonaise pudding,  ❞ kori said, somewhat MIFFED at their green COMRADE for eating the rest of her food. she couldn’t help it, pb&m (as she’d gracefully dubbed it) was one of her favorite foods and finding the last of it GONE had certainly irritated her.} 

                                      _{her attention, again, went to dick at the MENTION of the case, once again examining him in case of any EXTERNAL signs that he needed to talk. she was sure that this wasn’t easy for him and was determined, for his sake, to finish this MISSION off well. she would catch the thief and help REESTABLISH the reputation of his former home. she owed him that.} 

                                      _{❝ i will not forget our mission! ❞ kori declared proudly, nodding with DETERMINATION and offering him a small smile, ❝ as SOON as we arrive, i will go and search for some clues. there are bound to be some.  ❞}

                                      _{❝ i do not UNDERSTAND the youth of this earth, ❞ kori answered, swinging and kicking her legs off of the side of the building that she was lounging on, ❝ back home, i had many RESPONSIBLITIES but here they do not seem to have very MANY                                                                          granted, tamaran was in a war but i still do not comprehend the gap between i and them. ❞}
